This wild and ever-changing Naranjo River White Water Rafting Challenge is recommended for physically active adventurers. Enjoy the ride! This is a high-powered, half-day adventure on the Naranjo River, which heads steeply from the Costa Rican mountains, through untouched jungle canyons, followed by winds around rocky bends that take you on a wild, adventurous ride back to sea level. As your internationally trained, bilingual guides and safety paddlers navigate with you through this exciting river, you will pass breathtaking farmland, working on cattle farms and beautiful African palm plantations.
Unlike the Savegre River Adventure, the rafting tour on the Naranjo River offers all of its punches in a 7-mile ride that keeps your adrenaline pumping up for several hours. The water level in this Costa Rican treasure can rise sharply, especially during the rainy season (May-October), which is definitely a high level of difficulty for experienced rafters. After an adrenalin kick, enjoy local snacks and refreshments before heading back to reality, well, back to Manuel Antonio anyway.
